Last month, I completed the immigration process of my wife. I have summarized some resources I used for my application so that people who want to get immigration visa (green card) for his/her spouse( wife and husband)  will benefit from this article.

The first thing is to determine whether you can apply immigration for your wife or husband. This usually requires a established marriage relationship. The requirements of spousal immigraiton is as below:

1. You must be a citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. and can provide documentation to prove your status.
2. You must provide evidence that you can support your spouse at 125% above the mandated poverty line.

If you find yourself eligible to apply, you can get the Spousal Immigration Application Package . This is a very good application kit that can walk you through the whole application process. Just follow the instructions on the application package and complete the application forms(such as I-130), and submit to the immigration office with the correct application fee.

If you are a US citizen, you can petition your wife to stay in US while your application is being processed. Instructions for this are also available in the application package.

I successfully applied for immigration visa for my wife using the immigration application package. I think it is well-organized and easy to use so I highly recommend anyone who wants to save time and effort in applying the green card for your wife or husband.

For more information, you can visit the web site of US Immigration Visa Application Services.
